Banners Broker work like Google; however, there is a slight difference between the two
of them. Google makes money by selling advertising space to companies and businesses on th
internet who want to create exposure and more sales for their products or services. Google
charges these companies in exchange for advert placement. It places the adverts on other
people’s websites and pay website owners in return for the advert spaces provided. The website
owners who gave out spaces on their website to Google are referred to as Publishers. The
companies and businesses that pay Google in order to get exposure, more traffic and sales are
called Advertisers.
Google pays a percentage of about 30% of the money collected from Publishers to Advertisers.
Therefore, Google is happy for making 70% profit from advertisers and Publishers too are happy
for making 30% from Google. Google acted as a broker between advertisers and publishers and
by so doing makes enormous profits. It was reported by web analytics.net that Google made a
whooping sum of $37.9 billion in advertising revenue in 2011. That is a lot of money!
Now, back to the subject of discussion, Banners Broker works just like Google but with a
slight difference in operation. Banners Broker is a company that buys and sells ad
banners. A big company that has over 6 billion ads, Banners broker is paying out more than a
million dollars in commissions on daily basis to its agents. Just like Google, it also collects
money from advertisers and places the ads on publisher’s websites. There is an agreement
between Banners Broker and Publishers to place any ad they want on their site. Putting this in a
different way, Banners Broker has ownership right to ad spaces on Publisher’s websites.
The difference between Banners Broker and Google is that Banners Broker shares its advertising
revenue with its agents who are registered with them. The agent can act as an advertiser and
publisher at the same time. That means, you pay money for advertising and make money as a
publisher.
